Unscrupulous Contractors
By: chends26  on: Mon 25 June, 2007 10:24 EDT  (4068 Reads)
3 years ago my daughter lost $30,000 to a "home remodeling contractor" who was recommended to her by the well intentioned decorator she employed. She went to court, again, and again and again. She finally won a judgement against the contractor, but she never saw a dime. Unfortunately, this type of story is all too common today. Anyways, it was at this point that I started researching " home remodeling contractors". I started visiting town halls all over the state, pulling all the permits the contractors had out, and writing directly to the homeowners asking them to rate the contractors regarding various criteria on a form I sent. I spent 2 years doing this and I can tell you the results were astonishing and grim. Please visit my website and if you need a contractor please call me. I have come up with the best in the business. The contractors I recommend are professional, honest and proud of their craftmanship. There is no cost to the homeowner to call me and get a referral. I get a small fee from the contractor as they do not have to advertise. I have to get paid and this is the best solution possible. My contractors always have current referrals and you can always talk to their clients and visit the projects they have worked on. It really doesn't get any better than this for the homeowner. Let "Contractor Watchdogs" be your source for quality contractors.
Thank You,
Carol Hendsbee
